Okay, so this is one of the first posts that i am writing in my new blog “Virus In Training, The vending stand“. I have another blog at wordpress “Virus In Training, i dont understand how things spread“. Allthough i have spent less than three posts on blogger, but i do feel as if i can make a GOOD comparisons list between blogspot and wordpress.

blogspot.com

  • I can use my domain on here for free!.
  • I can use my adsense here, and any other types of contextual advertisement.
  • Templating here is LOTS easier to work with. Look at my sexy blog!.
  • The admin interface just LOOKS cleaner!.

wordpress.com

  • They attempt to create a STRONG sense of connection between wordpress.com’s user, things like “tag serfer”, and “my comments” do CONNECT us together, blogspot dont have that!.
  • WordPress has pages!
  • WordPress has categories.

Pages and categories are attempts of wordpress to make the software more of a CMS than a blogging engine. With google, they are solving this issue with thier “startpage” and “pages” features. Hopefully, we gonna see STRONG and FULL integration of all of these tools in google.com/accounts.
