Okay, I HATE BUZZWORDS. Now, that’s out of the way!
How would the next iteration of the Internet look like? there are many different theories as to what would happen and when, some are worth reading and some are TOO funny!. I like a simple one which is easy to understand in today’s lamer terms.
Websites are no longer “websites”, they transform into publicly accessible databases that require a special client to access them. Perhaps even, they will work with their own protocol!.
Sweet!?!?!, EXCELLENT WORK CHARLIE LETS KEEP GOING.
I could not believe my eyes when i saw gOS. Its a n Ubuntu based OS which runs Enlightenment window manager. SO, as the new leap through in none euclidean geometry. I bestow upon you this:

The main features of gOS is the integration of all of the neat “Web 2.0” tools or clients AS native OS programs,,,,, Somehow!!!. Now this SOUNDS really sexy and all for all of the right reasons. But you know what!, its not JUST that. This is web 3.0 based on the definition that i concocted earlier on this port.
Another example which suffices my definition earlier on is last.fm!, desktop client functioning on its own protocol which interfaces a web DB.
This is one of my few posts where i REALLY need input.

Perhaps i’m just googling the wrong words. But i have been BUSTING my CHOPS lately trying to find a good set of case studies which talk to IN NUMBERS about contextual advertisement.
I know that google supplied some of thier own stuff, and perhaps they do give not bad of an idea as to what type of online businesses work. But I still would like to see more numbers behind all of this.
Does anyone have any hints or anything worth sharing to everyone else?
